Competing in the Turkish Circuit Championship, Zekai Özen delivered an outstanding performance by completing the season—consisting of 5 rounds and 10 races—with 9 wins and 1 second-place finish. His lap time of 1:59.844 at Istanbul Park was recorded as the fastest in the history of the championship, earning him a track record.
His flawless performance throughout the season positioned Zekai Özen as one of the most remarkable names in Turkish motorsports this year.
Competing in the Senior category of the Turkish Karting Championship, Zeynep Çukurova finished the season 7th overall and 2nd among female drivers. Her 5th-place finish among 14 competitors in the 5th round clearly demonstrated her close competition with the leading group and her progress throughout the season.
Zeynep’s rising performance also holds significant value in increasing the visibility of female athletes in Turkish motorsports.
One of the youngest and most promising names in motorsports, 9-year-old Aras Pınar finished the season as the runner-up in Turkey in the Micro category. His performance on the karting tracks strongly signals even greater achievements in the future.
