As TURKRENT OPERATIONAL LEASING JOINT STOCK COMPANY, the protection of the confidentiality and security of the personal data belonging to our customers, suppliers, employees, and job applicants is among our primary principles.

Clarification Notice on the Protection of Personal Data

Your personal data shared with our company within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) (including educational information, employment and social life information, financial status), as well as special categories of personal data (including information regarding union/association/foundation memberships, criminal convictions, marital status, sexual life, biometric data, and health information), shall be stored, recorded, updated, disclosed/transferred to third parties where permitted by legislation, classified, and processed by our company in accordance with the Law.

Transfer of Personal Data and Purposes Thereof

Your processed personal data may be transferred to the relevant authorities without an obligation to inform you and without seeking your explicit consent, if requested under Article 28/1 of the Law.

In addition, in unforeseen circumstances or in cases explicitly prescribed by applicable laws, your personal data may be transferred to public institutions and organizations (such as ministries, presidential boards, and administrative authorities) within the purposes and limitations stipulated by law. Since no such foreseeable circumstance currently exists, no specific notification can be provided at this stage. Should such a situation arise, you will be informed separately in advance.

Furthermore, in order to fulfill contractual requirements, ensure the complete, accurate, and timely delivery of services, and respond to requests and complaints, your personal data may be shared with sector associations, affiliates of TURKRENT OPERATIONAL LEASING JOINT STOCK COMPANY, and service providers/business partners.

Except for our legal obligations that do not require a clarification notice or your explicit consent, your personal data shall not be transferred to any natural person, legal entity, institution, or organization.

Rights of the Data Subject

By applying to TURKRENT OPERATIONAL LEASING JOINT STOCK COMPANY, as the data controller, regarding the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

a. Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
b. Request information if your personal data has been processed,
c. Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with such purpose,
d. Learn the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
e. Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
f. Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated under Article 7 of the Law,
g. Request notification of the transactions made pursuant to items (e) and (f) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
h. Object to any result arising against you through the exclusive analysis of processed data by automated systems,
i. Request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
